Lung Association in Georgia supports smoking cessation advocacy effort

Georgia is among only a few states that do nothing to help their Medicaid population quit smoking and offers little smoking cessation benefits for their employees. Quitting smoking has been shown to be the most important step a smoker can take to improve the length and quality of his or her life.
