Volunteer Excellence Award

Donna Hawk of Westfield, MA has been chosen for the New England Volunteer Excellence Award.  She has been a dedicated volunteer for the American Lung Association in Massachusetts for the past 20 years.

Donna travels throughout MA in her efforts to promote lung health. She is been a strong advocate against Biomass in MA.  Donna speaks at schools, conferences, Better Breather Clubs to name a few.  She is a facilitator for the BB Club held at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.  Donna has been very involved with the Fight for Air Walk, Springfield Gala and Stair Climb. She is the Vice-President of the Leadership Board in MA and will assume her responsibility of Chair of the Leadership Board July 1, 2010.  Donna always brings a smile and a bright and cheerful attitude wherever she goes.
