2012 Trek Across Maine - Father's Day Weekend - June 15 - 17, 2012
From the mountains of Sunday River to the sea in Belfast, Maine, enjoy the beautiful scenery as you ride 180 miles* across the state in support of the American Lung Association. Overnight accommodations are provided at the University of Maine at Farmington and at Colby College in Waterville.
Trekkers are required to raise $500 in order to ride, along with a non-refundable $55 registration fee. (Children ages 7 - 17 must be accompanied by an adult guardian at all times. Minimum pledge requirement for ages 7 - 17 is $400. No children under the age of 7 permitted to ride).

2012 Trek Across Maine Indoors -- Second session starting in April!
The American Lung Association has partnered with the Kennebec Valley YMCA to offer two spin class series titled "Trek Across Maine Indoors"! Classes will be tailored to follow the Trek route from start to finish, including actual mileage, terrain and routes. Spin across Maine from the mountains to the sea, and track your progress on our larger than life map!
Participants in the spin class will receive a training t-shirt and full membership access to the KV YMCA (31 Union St. in Augusta, ME) for the duration of your chosen session! Sessions will run for 12 weeks each and will fill up fast!
Session II: April 2 - June 30, 2012
Monday & Wednesday - 6pm - 7pm

Join us at Beer & Bikes to learn more about how you can become involved as a cyclist or volunteer in the upcoming 2012 Trek Across Maine. Meet new friends and reconnect with other cyclists and volunteers during the winter months!
