Greater Cleveland Air & Asthma Alliance
Recognizing the impact that air quality has on people with breathing problems, in particular those affected by asthma, a formal alliance was formed between the Cleveland Clean Air Century Campaign and the Greater Cleveland Asthma Coalition. Recently, these two groups have joined forces to create the Greater Cleveland Air and Asthma Alliance. This alliance provides a unique integration of community members and local resources and agencies to improve the health of our neighborhoods. This alliance will improve operational efficiency and will utilize volunteers and members more effectively and the expanded capacity will provide increased service to local communities. The goal of the alliance is to improve the health and quality of life in Northeast Ohio by decreasing air pollution and reducing the asthma burden through sustainable community efforts.
